How about non-members can only run with permission from a club officer, preferably the train master.

Most likely it is because "I think I have enough experience and they accept that". It seems reasonable that their members might be able to do the same on our layout. Problems in the past have been with the Jr. members more so than adults. Jr. members are more apt to want to handle the club equipment, more apt to damage it and more apt to create problems because they don't know much. How do we draw a line regarding use of club equipment and layout to protect the club and its equipment. Not to say that adults couldn't create a problem, as they might as well.

That shouldn't happen. It is more likely with younger people that older adults, but again, it could happen there too.

This was to mean the person that drops in to see the layout, etc. In an attempt to cover the children of a member that is not old enough to be a Jr. Member, the other paragraph was added. It would be a shame if a member brought their child down and the child couldn't run the train while dad or mom sat with them and supervised and made sure their were no problems. The parent would have to be a member and be with their child. Any suggestions on wording???

Then the second part says non-members can run their own equipment under supervision of a member or junior member (which frankly I am in support of). So which is it?
