I could take a train to Crockett and run it even though I have never been there. Most likely it is because "I think I have enough experience and they accept that". Jr. members are more apt to want to handle the club equipment, more apt to damage it and more apt to create problems because they don't know much. How do we draw a line regarding use of club equipment and layout to protect the club and its equipment. Not to say that adults couldn't create a problem, as they might as well.<br> <br> If we have a problem, we need some rule that allows us to say "stop, you are not allowed to do that" or something like that. example: Chad brings a friend down a pretty soon he is all over the layout. Non-members shouldn't be allowed to run trains. This was to mean the person that drops in to see the layout, etc. In an attempt to cover the children of a member that is not old enough to be a Jr. Member, the other paragraph was added. It would be a shame if a member brought their child down and the child couldn't run the train while dad or mom sat with them and supervised and made sure their were no problems. The parent would have to be a member and be with their child.
