I bought a GoPro Session (it is about a 1.2" cube without a screen).  GoPro has an app that can run the camera and monitor the video feed. It connects over WiFi to the camera.  I ran it on the O with an external aux battery last year and had the feed to an iPad behind the glass at the O scale operator area. It works well but would be challenging in HO.
