Hello Joel   Can you please let me know does a 560 ohm 1/4 watt dropping resistor sound match for a 1.5v bulb 50 ma rating on DCC ?  The Decoders are Tsunami 2 Decoders in my engines.  Thank you  Gary   In other words will this combination give perfect brightness for the bulbs?   I will wait to hear back from you.  Gary

 Jere,
Actually neither. The camera broadcasts over a FPV radio frequency. The antenna to connect to the phone is designed to pick it up.

Interesting video, was the camera broadcasting via blue tooth or WIFI to your phone?

Subject: [Accrs] Layout First Person View

Message From: Joel Clark clark.joel.a at gmail.comAll,
I went to the layout this afternoon to test out some new equipment and check on the lights. On the HO side one of the show halogens is out so I will order an LED replacement and wire it in later. Also the upstairs room reeked and sure enough I found a dead rat on the floor. I threw the rat in the trash outside and put "Rat 'Sorb" to decontaminate the area.
On to the subject of the email. I've been messing around with drones and found that the ubiquitousness of drones and smartphones has provided us consumers with a glut of cheap micro-sized live action camera equipment. For a mere $60 on Amazon.com, I was able to procure a micro FPV camera, 2 drone batteries, charger, and an FPV phone antenna. The whole rig is small enough to easily fit inside an HO locomotive with some minor modification, and effortlessly into O scale. Overall I was quite impressed with the results, watching live instant video from my train straight to my phone, with the option to record. The picture quality is not perfect, and no sound, but given the low cost point I couldn't have expected better. Other antennas can be bought that have VGA out to go to a TV or other screen. Oh the modern world in which we live.I've uploaded a video I took today to Youtube:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0eMujLRy-sc

If you find this interesting let me know and I'll share specifics about what I bought.
Thanks!-Joel_______________________________________________Accrs mailing listAccrs at mail.accrs.orghttps://mail.accrs.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/accrs_______________________________________________
