[Accrs] Western Pacific Railroad Accident at Sunol, California 1941

 Hi Tony,

Here is a report with additional details.  It is my understanding that this accident location was North of Koopman Rd. along Pleasanton-Sunol Rd.  I had some friends who were Volunteer Firemen back then and responded to this accident.  I remember them telling me how bad the Engineer & Fireman had been burned from the steam.  The Pleasanton Museum has some pictures taken at the accident.
