Jim,
Yesterday I was running a 60 car train with a caboose. Same set-up.
4 units on the point and 2 more 35 cars back in the consist. The
mid-train helpers were spliced (one on each end) by one of the Santa Fe
RCE units they made from retired B-units. Looked good and ran fine.
It took 20 minutes to completely make a circuit at about 35 miles per
hour. Sound on the point and sound with the helpers.
