Wayne Toigo and I spent 4 hours there today and sorted everything out. New switch is installed and a new short piece of connecting track at the end of one of the legs. The piece replaced was probably the source of derailments. Wayne sorted out the electrical issue so we’re good to go. BTW, the old brass wire cranking linkage for throwing the switch was replaced with a single steel wire in a 3/8” inch hole in the sub-roadbed which is the way the Tortoises were designed to work. Simple. No monkey motion. <o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal">I will be picking up the Good-Guys passes either tomorrow or Thursday so distribution will be Friday night.
