<div>Thanks to the guys (John, Dean and Jere) painting the Conductors Seat Stand for us to sit in during events. After sanding it down, they decided to paint a prime coat of white. Seeing it white and more visible, we discussed alternative colors so it would
stand out more in the clean-up “lobby”. Painting it brown to blend in with the wainscoting and the short back wall did not seem to make sense. After talking through Safety Yellow and Orange, we agreed on caboose red as a good color. As John took the lead, it
is up to him to choose a caboose red. After doing a little research, what is really interesting is the range in color variation in actual cabooses on each rialroad line. So, any red except for a really bright Ferrari red will work. </div>
