Phil, regarding the Green entrance light – this was created using a recessed can light housing. The front lips on the can are exposed so I’m thinking that a Tap Plastics sign green acrylic disc will help tone down the intensity, plus
be able to cover up the front lip area. The can itself needs some work to adjust and secure the position – it currently is leans downward. This would be an effective option and keep it as simple as possible without more switches and electrical gadgets.
I don’t know the exact outer diameter – perhaps 6.5 inches.
