If anyone wants to do that I will note a shared shift on the chart. We can decide if that makes sense to have next year as an option. Everything I wrote in the document needs to be discussed and agreed by us as a group. We should discuss before doing anything. The layout looks really good now, but there is a lot of equipment under and to be repaired. Most of the stuff on the layout is the members and seems to me it is fine to have on the layout if it can be run. Ted’s equipment is really nice on the layout if he is comfortable with it running. My thought is that equipment left on the layout can be run during shows, though I keep thinking we need a logbook to measure usage for maintenance. As I drew it up and thought about it from the view of a new member (me when I came a couple of years ago), I thought that might be confusing, so I opted to make the yard main “Track 1”. That way when you start counting you can count up from the track closest to the center aisle (the yard main) as 1. Also, if we start with Switch 41, then the switch and track numbers align up to track 9 (all the tracks in the 4x ladder).
