<html><body><font face="Helvetica">Tony <br><br>I have the ESU sound and non sound decoders in several engines. There early units have been fine and I have had no issues with them. I also have there programmer but have not used it. There has been a problem with there early units when using JMRI to program them. If you use the factory reset in JMRI you wipe the sound file. I am not sure but latest version may have corrected this. <br>I have two engines with there Lok Pilot decoder in them. These decoders have this annoying feature (to me at least) that as you increase your throttle the sound of the engine increases but there is a delay in the response in the engine speed at the start.
