RAFAEL, Calif. – With the launch of Sonoma Marin Area Rail Transit just weeks
away, police in the Bay Area are cracking down on drivers who stop their
vehicles on railroad crossings as a way to raise awareness of the new trains.
Since May 30, officers have issued more than 30 citations to drivers who block
