<div dir="ltr">Greetings!
<div>In my collection I've been accumulating items for three military
trains. These are in 1:87 scale because of availability of items.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>1.) Troop Train ca. 1943 - Walthers troop train cars and a few
heavyweights. Goal is to model something that might have been used on
the Rock Island using 4-8-2 as lead locomotive. Status: still need
information on Rock Island troop trains in the 1940's.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>2.) WWII Tank Train ca. 1942 - loads and loads of M4 Sherman
tanks and related equipment on flat cars. Status: need accurate 50'
1940's era flat cars. Lead locomotive: TBD.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>3.) Desert Storm ca. 1990 (Gulf War) - loads and loads of M1A1
Abrams tanks and M2 Bradleys. Status: awaiting the new DODX tank flat
cars are coming 2016/2017. Lead locomotives Union Pacific SD60M's; or
Burlington Northern SD60M's.</div>
<div><br>
</div>
<div>Unfortunately, nothing to run at this time. Curious if anyone
else is modeling these types and era's and the information gathered.</div>
