Here is a site that shows many of the lighted drumheads. Finding them
to purchase could be difficult and/or expensive.<br>

<div>Attached is an example of a Golden State car. One of the
original signs is on display inside the Original Whistle Stop train
store in Pasadena. Others might exist in personal collections. I
don't think the California Railroad Museum has one of these. I would
guess that they are valued over $1,000.00</div>

<div>What I would like to do is recreate these, but use LED lighting
and perhaps have a removable battery pack that is easy to insert/remove
and is concealed in the design. Thereby, you can hang it without
worrying about electrical outlets. </div>

acrylic with back lighting. And if we want to get really creative, we
can include sensor devices or timers to automatically turn on/off.
Version 1.0 can be basic on/off switch.</div>
