<html> <head> <style></style></head> <body class='hmmessage'><div dir='ltr'><div>Hey Folks, attached is a lettering spec sheet I found in the Pullman Company archives.</div><div><br></div><div>It's a two tone grey car with orange/black GOLDEN STATE letterings.</div><div><br></div><div>I suspect this lettering style was for the Southern Pacific so it blended into other car consists. Notice that the date on this is 1946, so this is 3 years before the arrival of the planned GOLDEN ROCKET which were red/silver cars.</div><div><br></div><div>A couple of questions - does anyone have photos of Golden State cars or Southern Pacific cars that have this paint arrangement?
