Subject: [Accrs] Parts - Kato Universal
I remember one time I purchased some brass models from THE TRAIN SHOP back in the early 1990's. The drive line was simply some rubber hose small enough to fit the can motor shaft and worm shaft. Luckily, today we have better solutions and can now custom made anything needed. All of those will have to get replaced.
Below is the drive universal for a Kato GP35 in HO scale. The only change I made to this was to increase the length by 2mm as Kato provided part sits too close the flywheel edge, now it can sit more in the middle of the hex slot.
3 sketches - 1 pieces.
