[Accrs] Airbrushing using Nitrogen

Tony,

Since the atmosphere is 78% nitrogen, there is no problem. Why for solvent
paints?

You don't need any special permit or anything to get N2 from a gas place.
One can even get CO2 at Safeway! Just go to a local Airgas or Praxis
welding and sign-up for the tank deposit and you should be able to get it.
Say you're using it for a purge gas for paint or something. If you're
really exotic, you'll get Argon!

Subject: [Accrs] Airbrushing using Nitrogen

Does anyone have experience with using Nitrogen as the compress gas for
airbrushing? I want to move to this instead of air compressor, especially
for solvent based paints.

I want to find a local source for a bottle and refilling.

Tony
