Photos that you just don’t see every day . . . a Rock Island U25B parked in Los Angeles 1971.  RI choose this paint scheme in 1969 shortly after the SOO LINE went to large billboard lettering.   Notice the Scotchlite  RI shield emblem is not applied to the front nose area – either was peeled off or not applied yet.
