The platform faces south, therefore movement left to right is westbound. If you don't trust me read the description of cameras in the comments with the default camera being the one facing east and the secondary facing west. Not that it really matters, but Google maps shows the proper orientation. Google Earth just rotates and doesn't note direction. Except for Amtrak, which uses the track by the station both directions, most freight is left hand running through Flagstaff which confuses things a little.

If you go to YouTube and search vrf flagstaff you can scroll back to 10:58 and see the entire train roll by westbound, which may mean you can see it in Barstow sometime this evening.
