We are going to make an ACCRS field trip day to Sacramento on May 6th to visit the California Railroad Museum and the new NMRA exhibit there https://www.nmra.org/magic-scale-model-railroading-gallery
 
  
 
The plan is to catch the train up and back from the  Martinez Amtrak station for the 9:54 Am train up to Sacramento and to have dinner (or supper or late lunch depending on your preferences) after visiting the museum.  These are the trains we selected Friday night. I booked my tickets, and it was a grand total of $41 for the round trip (just in coach). Museum admission is $12 and they take credit. We can meet at the Martinez station around 9:40 or so. It is a through train so we
