FYI.

I was speaking with two OPD officers on Tuesday and they mentioned to me that the Oakland Mayor and Alameda County were/are planning to use the fairgrounds to move ~6,000 homeless people from the streets of Oakland into the fairground somewhere. I wasn’t able to get more details.  Has anyone else heard about such a plan?

Oakland is going through a Defund The Police driven by the mayor and there is a very serious, out of control, crime spree happening right now and Hispanics and Asians are on the target list.  The main violence is car jackings, robberies and murdering.   The police are being instructed to back off and allow it to happen unless it results in a murder and then they will check it out.
