[Accrs] Election of club officers.

[Alameda County Central Railroad Society]

During our October 2 Zoom "business" meeting we discussed the election of
ACCRS officers.  Normally we draft a nominating committee in September,
which we also normally forget to do.  Next the nominating committee, in an
effort to make their assignment easier, checks with the current officers to
see if they are willing to run again.  They also check around to see if
anyone else wants to throw their hat in.  With no nominating committee at
the October 2 meeting, it was determined the existing officers are willing
to do another year, which gives us the minimum slate.  So, the nominations
stay open until the vote is called in the business meeting in November which
is next Friday evening on Zoom.  If anyone wants to throw their hat in or
railroad someone else into running, after all, this is a railroad, please
indicate your interest before the meeting next Friday and you will be on the
ballot.  The slate at this point is:

Pres - Gary Lewis

VP- Phil Edholm

Sect- Dean Lewis

Treasurer - John Kolberg

 

On another subject, dues are due.  Even thought we haven't had access to the
club, we still have expenses like insurance to pay.  If you have a concern
about paying dues under the current circumstances or a hardship issue,
please contact John Kolberg or me to discuss.
