All,

At the last business meeting on the 4th, the nominating committee 
presented a slate of candidates for the annual election of officers.  
The slate was nominated and is as follows:

President - Gary Lewis

Vice Pres - Phil Edholm

Secretary - Dean Lewis

Treasurer - John Kolberg

The nominations will remain open until the next business meeting where 
the vote will take place.  So, if anyone wants to run for office, feel 
free to throw your hat in the ring.  Get someone to nominate you at the 
next business meeting while the nominations are still open.  You can 
also "railroad" someone else into the election!!

Speaking of the next business meeting which is scheduled for November 1, 
there is a Hula Festival going on, so if you have problems coming in 
Gate 12, try the front gate across from the ACE station.  There are some 
other events going on at various times and location over the next month, 
but only the dog show this coming Friday the 18th, will be a likely 
problem for us.  I'll make one last check with the Fair in the morning 
to see if we can get in.  The problem is that there will be people and 
their dogs camping out around our area.  We've dealt with this before, 
but the Fair is getting more conservative about cars mixed with people.

Good-Guys is the 9th and 10th of November.  We need early sign ups to 
get our tickets and parking passes as we did in August. See your 
trainmaster for signups.
