[Accrs] URGENT Work Day this Saturday, March 2

As we announced, our second work day is this Saturday, March 2.

The following are the potential tasks for this week:


  1.  Install new/refurbished art on front wall that was painted - bring in Orchard calendars!
  2.  Paint the Conductor chair base and the O scale viewing platform. We may need paint for the platform - we have some brown for the base - note that both need some sanding before painting
  3.  Begin electrical wiring replacement for power in entry way - Phil/Dick/?
  4.  Begin back wall clean-up remove items - paint back wall blue - clean out display case and begin new items. - if possible, paint the front area by the door as well.
  5.  Paint tower/office exterior to the layouts - will need brown and yellow paint to match existing
  6.  Paint stairway to office

Note that numbers 1 and 2 must be completed before the train show in 3 weeks, so that is the most important activity this week.

Please reply if you can take on one of these as well as getting the materials.

We will discuss at our Friday business meeting as well.
