[Accrs] CRI&P 1872 Condensed Time Table

I couldn't detect any time-zone-related change in the schedule.  Was there some fixed national time back then?  Note that it took the Express trains almost 5 days and 10 hours to make the trip from Chicago to Oakland.  The Immigrant/express schedule took almost nine days!!!  How spoiled are we?

Notice that a boat transfer across the Missouri River is required to get into Omaha.  Then you’re on the Union Pacific tracks to SLC, then Central Pacific to Oakland.   No mention of another boat ride across the bay to reach San Francisco.  Livermore is listed on the schedule – Pleasanton and Sunol are not.
