[Accrs] Next Friday business meeting - Officers

I have no objections. Any objections would be that we need people
working the layout more than just dropping in to run their trains and
leaving.

I tried to get some buy-in by the HO members when I suggested each
member contribute a new car to the layout to replace some old worn out
piece of rolling stock. Lee contribute one, Gary contributed one, Jere
contibuted 1 and I contribute two and that is it. Some indication of
how people feel about the layout vs just running "their" trains. If we
are going to stay, we have to show some effort to be a club and work on
the layout. Last year I rebuilt the high bridge, a couple years ago,
Gary and I replaced the wooden trestle. I redid the road crossing.
If you don't know how to do it, come up with and idea and get someone to
work with you to do the project. I see several small place in the
scenery around the passenger area facing the aisle that have been broken
due to someone's carelessness. Little things that can be fixed.

If we show the Fair we really mean business and want to stay, we need to
really show them everyone cares.
