[Accrs] ACCRS - New Brochure Design & Ideas

At the meeting last night, Phil presented a project list, one which is to re-design/update the Club Brochure.
Here’s a couple ideas that came to mind . . .


  *   Brochure, Add a “Fun Facts” section, containing noteworthy facts about the layouts,  club history, operations, etc… For example:
     *   World’s Largest County Fair Model Railroad Exhibit
     *   World’s Oldest and Largest O Scale Model Train Layout
     *   Over 16 Million miles of electrical wires
     *   More than 544 switches
     *   Over 100 scale miles of trackage
     *   Over 1000 years of combined member model railroading experience (lots of old people)
     *   Processed over 5,000 Scouting Merit Badges for model railing
  *   Brochure,  Add/Revise the “New Member” process
     *   How To
     *   Where To-
     *   Code of Conduct (because we want to show ahead of time we have standards to meet)
     *   Needed skills:  train operations,  electrical, electronics, dcc, scenery, painting, track work, marketing, non-profit organizations and funding, sponsorship programs management, etc…
