Here’s something that you can take a look and see if you are interested in modernizing the clubs security.   Given the value and personal becoming that are stored inside it makes sense.   This system can easily be moved to a new building if needed.

In additional the security cameras,  the system could be extended to live stream camera of model train actions.  If someone can’t make it to the show,  they can watch it at home via the internet.

I can ask my Intel rep to help sponsor this project, but it’s not all for free.  The hardware part of this is about $2,000 and there is a software development effort which I’m expecting will be volunteers.  The FR may need addition compute and storage. TBD.  Also,  the Intel Edison can host web services and web server apps with connectivity to the cloud via the AT&T connection.
