Are you there year round. I asked a train operator the other day how 
long it takes to set it all up, but he completely ignored me. My husband 
thinks it is there all the time.

Thanks for asking, but we really don't accept many donation items 
because most of the time, the items don't really fit in with what we 
already have.  Sometimes we'll accept item donations and let club member 
have them if the want.

I'm involved in one FREE attraction at the Alameda County Fair which has 
been there since 1959. It's the Model Railroad which is in a building 
about 100 x 35 feet. It contains an HO layout and an O scale layout. We 
are open 11-10 every day. We will accept donations but that is optional. 
The kids, young and old, love it. It's in building F. Come in and get a 
little relief from the heat since we have 8 swamp coolers running. This 
isn't your train around the tree set up. Cities, ports, mountains, 
freight and passenger trains from multiple eras.
