That is actually a good idea Jamie,I suppose you should bring it up to your train master,  and we can all discuss it at the next business meeting

So this is mostly for the O scalers as I’ve been talking about it a lot with HO already. I’ve been bringing up the idea of having a page on Facebook for our club and wanted to get some opinions from the O Scale side. A public FB business page would be a great PR tool for the club.  It would be helpful in recruiting new members and publicizing our club.  The intent would be to make it easy for others to see what we are doing and become interested. It would be used to publicize our shows, ops sessions, etc. The public can message us directly through the Facebook page if they are interested in joining and coming down to see our ops sessions and also check out photos and videos of the layouts.
Most every business or group these days makes use of FB/social media to speak to potential clients, members, etc. In my opinion, we also could use an updated website as well. These are zero cost ways to advertise our club and potentially gain new members for both O and HO Scale for Goodguys, the fair, etc.

Attached are some screenshots showing a sample of what the page would look like. Now as I have not gotten full approval, the page is currently unpublished, so it is not visible to the public yet. Of course I’d probably change the profile and cover pictures as well. Any opinions?
