It's not political. I don't care who started it. Arnold was a loser anyways. I never voted for him, so it's not political. It's a waste of money and will be draining the state and federal tax dollars as far as the eye can see. It's Jerry's choo choo because he has doubled down on spending the money, which is way more than we voted for. The reason they started it in the valley is that it's the fastest and easiest place to do it (like flat, no mountains, etc.). They wanted to get it started to make it more difficult to kill it later. Kinda like trying to kill useless bureaucracies. Also a bit like Niles Canyon plopping the piece of snap track down in Pleasanton to say it's their right of way. BTW, Arnold is what's referred to as a RINO.
