Members,

The Alameda Fair web page gives the daily schedule.  Down in thecomments section below the calendar for each day (looks like acalendar) is the statement:  No admission after 6:00pm.   This meansparking lots and walk in people.  Also, this web page says the samething.  Too many traffic problems last year at 6:00.

Fourth of July is “First Responders Night” and police and firefighterswho show their valid identification are invited to attend the fair forfree. Fair officials say the gatesand parking lots will close at 6 p.m. The fireworks display, which willtake place at the Budweiser Grandstand, will start at 9:30 p.m. Thefair will be open until 11 p.m.

Iwould get there prior to 6:00 if you are on the night shift on the 4thof July.
