[Accrs] Forth of July Fair Schedule - Critical Information

Members,

The Alameda Fair web page gives the daily schedule.  Down in the 
comments section below the calendar for each day (looks like a calendar) 
is the statement:  No admission after 6:00pm.   This means parking lots 
and walk in people.  Also, this web page says the same thing.  Too many 
traffic problems last year at 6:00.

Fourth of July is "First Responders Night" and police and firefighters 
who show their valid identification are invited to attend the fair for 
free.* Fair officials say the gates and parking lots will close at 6 
p.m. The fireworks display, which will take place at the Budweiser 
Grandstand, will start at 9:30 p.m. The fair will be open until 11 p.m.

*I would get there prior to 6:00 if you are on the night shift on the 
4th of July.
