[Accrs] Safeway Trailers in 1972

[Alameda County Central Railroad Society]

I believe that is the Quad Cities Rocket.  The last Rocket to operate.  That domed car is Big Ben,  acquired from the C&O.



Just an idea – We could create a Safeway distribution center on the layout,  engage with a Safeway marketing executive to fund the display.    There are available model in HO scale like the Safeway 50’ Reefer cars,  make up some insulated boxcars,  trailers and tractors,  and add a nice Safeway building sign.  Maybe Miller Engineering could add to their selection.
