Yesterday I had to go to Micheals in Dublin to purchase an item. They always have coupons for 40% an item and various other ones.
I noticed there was one on Circuit. They have been selling this for 10 years for more. I visited their web site to see what new models they have available.

The latest version I think has some appear to model railroading. Check out more with the links below.

In HO scale, there have been several great, outstanding, flat cars that come out in the past 5 years. However, if you want to create lumber loads that are very realistic then it’s very time consuming. If you want to purchase verse make yourself then they are very expensive.

The latest flat car has come from Wheels Of Time - a couple of versions include Southern Pacific bulkheads and plain flats. These are fine models and unfortunately there really isn’t an outstanding off-the-shelf lumber load to match. Wheels Of Time just started shipping a plastic injected lumber load kit. It’s molded in yellowish/tan plastic and will require additional hand painting, weathering. But the boards appear to be about 4x10’s or lager. So if you want 2x4’s, 2x6’s then what?

So, maybe using a tool like this Circuit and the thin, real wood, veneers, and basswood sheets that are commonly used in CO2 laser cutters will work in this new machine which is suppose to be able to cut wood up to 2.4mm. I think that size would even work in O scale. The problem with the laser is that char on the edges that would need to be sanded off. With Circuit, I think you end up with something even better.

Has anyone used these before? Very crafty tool – search on YouTube for even more project ideas.
