[Accrs] Recycling -, Drink Fund

Members,

Thanks to all of you that made it a point to recycle your water bottles 
and beverage cans.  I spent a couple of hours today sorting it all out 
and took it to the recycle center.

For the plastic bottles, I received $13.68.

For the aluminum cans, I received $ 30.16.  Those cans were not all ours 
and someone awhile back gave me a bag of flattened cans that I threw 
into the mix.   Maybe 1/4 to 1/3 of the can money was from these cans.   
I can not for the life of me remember where I got them.  I don't think 
it was from a club member.

Anyway, the grand total for the drink fund was $43,84.

Nice litle piece of change.

*One favor.   Please make sure your water bottles and cans are empty 
before tossing them in the recycle.  I have to empty them if you don't.
