is that number correct at nearly half a million 445,000 ?????? Or rather 44,500 ???

The total fair attendance was 445000 which means that we held our own. Also, most of us don't count the back door entries and they seemed to increase this year, because of the blacksmith shop.
One of the fair directors walked through on Monday and stopped to talk to Dick Stark and me. He mentioned counting the back door entries. Fortunately, everything was running very well at the time.
