[Accrs] Lash-Up Round-Up

Hi Tony:

I do know that RI passenger power operated all the way to LA on the Golden State Limited in its latter years, and most likely there was a RI/SP motive power pool on the freight side as well. Can't explain how the UP unit got into the lash-up though. It could have been running off horse-power hours from another pool with the SP, or maybe even with the RI. This is why I liked the SP, and the RI as they did some unique things, regarding motive power, and other things.

Lee,
This is the first photo I've seen of a RI unit with SP and UP together - rare. Now this gives license to run a train like this.
