I did some research and crawled through the mail server logs, and it would appear that folks using AOL, Comcast, Gmail, and some other major email providers may be missing some of the emails sent, by users of those email systems due to changes they have been implementing on their side. A good description can be found here: http://postmaster-blog.aol.com/2014/04/22/aol-mail-updates-dmarc-policy-to-reject/ <http://postmaster-blog.aol.com/2014/04/22/aol-mail-updates-dmarc-policy-to-reject/>
To work around this, I have changed the email lists to hide the sender of the email so that it appears to come FROM accrs.org <http://accrs.org/> instead of the person sending the email (user at aol.com <mailto:user at aol.com> for example). This should allow everyone to see copies of email sent to the lists, and allow delivery for everyone. The down side is that the emails will appear to come from the list and not a real person. You will have to open the email to see who sent it. It can make following a coversation a bit difficult, but it’s about the only thing that can be done to make things work right with the big email providers.
If you have questions please let me know.
