The other event ended up being canceled at the last minute. This coming Friday has no other events scheduled and we were going to be able to drive in. Last Friday, Harry, at the Fair, called me and told me that our BBQ is regarded as an “event” and thus we can not drive in!!!! Go figure. The order is coming from above Harry. That being said, the Fair will provide free shuttle service to bring our folks in from the parking areas near the stable parking area which we use when we have a “walk in” night. They will allow us to have two cars on the grounds for set up. Those cars must be off the grounds within an hour of the BBQ starting time of 6:00.
