If there is interest I can have my train room open Friday. Layout is up but need to power it. Can hang and get dinner.

All,
This weekend, including Friday night is the dreaded Night Market! So, we all need to find something else to do Friday evening. No access. Do not attempt to get in.

Yesterday, Wayne and Logan had problems getting on the grounds. Wayne called me after he managed to get in and told me about his experience. I called Jenn Pendergraf at the Fair and asked about the situation. Here’s the deal between now and the Fair: If any of you want to go on the grounds to work on the layouts, test run your train, etc., call Jenn the before you go to let her know when you plan to come in so she can notify Security to let you in. It has to do with all the preparation work going on ahead of the fair, the associated increase in vehicles on the grounds, and security. Please call Jenn the day before if possible, not 5 minutes before you get to the gate!! At least give her a couple hours notice. If she doesn’t answer, leave a message and your number so she can call you back. Jenn’s number is: (925) 426-7812. If you have issues, call me at (510) 775-4777. Don’t jump to the conclusion that the Fair is jerking us around. It has to do with increased security and is not aimed at us.

Gary Lewis
