Had a lengthy conversation with Beth in the facilities office today and have
some things to report.

1.	We have access to the fairgrounds this coming Friday the 13th.
Access will be thru the front gate (Pleasanton Ave. by the ACE station.) So
let's meet at the club and do some cleanup/maintenance.
2.	After this Friday, we will be meeting on Thursday nights leading up
to the Good Guys. We need to know who will be participating by Friday, the
13th. That's day after tomorrow. We need time to have the Good Guys mail
the passes and then a couple Thursday night to distribute.
3.	Next Thursday the Fair will provide a dumpster for us to load up
with our crap.
4.	Access to the grounds on Friday nights is dependent upon the type,
size, and location, amongst other things. The Night Market gives the Fair a
real challenge in that all attendees are to use Gates 8 and 12. However,
the Fair leaves the front or Pleasanton Ave gate open for access to the golf
course. The Night Market events are heavily attended and they are having
problems with people jumping fences and being in areas that are fenced off
from the event. Thus there is concern with mixing our car traffic with that
situation. We'll have to continue to coordinate with Beth as events arise.
5.	We will likely have access to the grounds the Friday night of Labor
Day weekend which is usually Scottish Games setup night, but they will
likely be up at the front part of the Fair and we will use Gate 12. Smaller
event than in the past.
6.	While talking with Beth, one of the Fair's maintenance guys came in
and started talking about upgrading our lighting with LED's. This would be
during the winter. I'm not sure how much of that has already been done by
Joel and others, but let's not look a gift horse in the mouth. There may be
some upgrades that can be done jointly to improve what we have.
7.	For the everyone, when you come in the front door and hit the light
switch for the entry lights, they won't turn on and pushing the little
button will not turn on the HO fluorescents. That's because the relays
which are activated by the little buttons are apparently shot. None of the
button panels will turn the light on or off. However, if you walk part way
up the stairs to the second breaker box, open it and flip on breaker 17 near
the bottom, the HO fluorescents will turn on along with the entry lights.
Not a good long term arrangement, but the lights can be turned on and off at
the breaker box. Sounds like a relay replacement is in order and if the
fluorescents have all been replaced with LEDs, we could probably do away
with the relays and button boxes and go to standard switches (provided high
voltage wiring was used of the relay buttons). I'll be talking to Joel
about the issue.
8.	We need your help in getting ready for the Good Guys.
