<html><head></head><body><div class="ydpa21f7ae2yahoo-style-wrap" style="font-family:times new roman, new york, times, serif;font-size:13px;"><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Hello Members and Friends, <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Please know that I am battling Stage 3 Thyroid Cancer as diagnosed in August of this Year. <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I have had one operation at Eden Medical Castro Valley and Dr Robert Wu of Bay Are Ear Nose and Throat has taken out a large, cancerous tumor the size of a lemon off the right side of my thyroid gland. <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I was in surgery for over 4 hours and bled heavily. I lost 1000 cc of blood and was hospitalized for the next 2 days the operation was on September 15th Then re hospitalized for another 4 days following that discharge.<br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Now my case has been transferred to Standford Medical of Palo Alto for more operations and tests. <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">I am terrified and scared for the next operation coming February 20 2026 next year. The Endochronologist Dr Seib will cut open my neck both sides and remove remaining Lymph Node Glands and then fix drain tube on each side of my neck for a week's time. This has me petrified and horrified. <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">You may know I did not attend the Fall Goodguys open house nor will I be attending the Great Great Train show this December. I also foresee no participation in the Spring GoodGuys show as I will still be in recovery from operation in February. <br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">Sadly my Mom and I won't be attending the Club Xmas Pot Luck Dinner. I am home bound. </div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false"><br></div><div dir="ltr" data-setdir="false">May you all have a deserving Christmas and Successful New Year. If any I welcome your support thank you in advance. I wanted the club to know all of this as I fight back tears writing.
