<p class="MsoNormal">The sign-up sheets for this coming Alameda County Fair (06/13 – 07/06) will be posted soon. Jorg or I will send details.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Fair is coming upon us fast! We have a business meeting next month (where we typically spend it preparing the building) and then Fair starts the next Friday (5 weeks from today).<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>NCE Handheld Controller Refurb<o:p></o:p></u></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We have sent out most of our old and problematic controller throttles to NCE for repair. The new units aren’t available yet. Sorry about that, my fault. I’ll get those ready soon, but probably not tonight.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>Cleanup Progress<o:p></o:p></u></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">We’ve made more progress on cleaning up the underside of our layout, especially under the Port area. Thanks to all that helped. We still have more to do in the middle of the layout and on the City side.<o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><u>New Refurb Projects<o:p></o:p></u></b></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Jorden and Brodie asked about updating a couple of our older static locomotives with DCC so that they can be for Club use. I explained the process for proposing a new project and submitting a budget for a vote. Thanks for stepping up! Reach

<p class="MsoNormal">As a reminder, our official email distribution service will be through Groups.io
<b><u>only</u></b>. We are discontinuing our use of the old “email reflector” (mail.accrs.org), due to continuing issues with Gmail and Hotmail email addresses. This transition became effective after our May business meeting.<o:p></o:p></p>
