During the recent train show (?) or later, someone came in and donated
some equipment. A few passenger SP passenger cars and a Kato SD40. It
is in the BN green and black scheme.

I picked it up yesterday and brought it home to clean it up. Very dusty
and had those old style "horn hook" couplers, Pulled the pins holding
the couples out, removed the couplers (one had the coupler part broken
off).

Removed the shell and low and behold, put it on a test track and it runs
like a Kato. My intention is to put a DCC decoder in it. The dust
cleaned up nicely.

The question is:

1. I can leave it DC only.
2. I can add a decoder and put it in service, as is, with the BN scheme.
3, I can add a decoder, and do a "patch" for Sierra Western.
4. I can add a decoder and paint it orange and letter Sierra Western

If I am looking for the least challenging option and most useful for
all, it would be #3 above

Any comments as to what I should do for the "new" club engine.
