HO Members,

I sent the message below back on Dec. 12. Only one person responded.
Boy, what an active group we have. Does no one care anymore about the
layout and the upkeep and renewal that must occur continually???

Who watches for bargains and who thinks of the club when they see them.
These cars are an example. The list price is $44.99. They are
currently on sale for $36.99. The day I ordered them, they were on a
firesale for $18.99. A deal that I couldn't pass up. How many of you
have seen something that would work for the club at a really good price
and said, no way. I don't want to help the club and spend "my own
money" for something I can GIVE to the club to improve some aspect of
the club. I don't see it happening but I see people getting reimbursed
for small items that they in reality should just donate. Come on. this
is your club. Lets make it better. Sure we may be out in a few years,
but we still have a few years to use it. That is what is important.
A couple of weeks ago, ExactRail had a sale on covered hoppers. One,
in particular had a really low price to try to move it. Turns out that
this company lettered, on the car, is a billion dollar grain company
headquarters in Kansas.

Anyway, I couldn't pass up the really cheap price for new cars for the
club. My question is this.

Should I leave them lettered as is, or

Should I attempt some version of Sierra Western.

We are talking four cars. See attached.
