We ran a little long and I forgot to bring it up. My bad. So, it turns out the “O” scale will be open both days and there were a number of HO folks there tonight wanting to run next weekend. If anyone wants to run either day, please advise. At this time we’ll be open on a voluntary basis for both days – DCC operation for both.

Next Friday night will be our first clean up night in preparation for the fair and now partially for the Good Guys. Please don’t plan on running and please don’t stay home because of that. We need help getting rid of a lot of junk under the layout which gets in the way when we are crawling around go fix derailments and just general cleaning to make the place look decent. The tower also needs some clean up. The following Friday is a business meeting and the non-meeting time should be spent on residual clean up. If needed, Saturday the 10th can be used for cleanup and repair. Remember, many hands make for light work, or something like that. BTW, does anyone know who owns the triple air horn and the two new railroad car air hoses under the layout? They’re just taking up “crawl” space and we need to clear them out.

We need to be ready to roll on Friday morning, the 16th.
