Some I have put in lots of hours on them running on the layout and others that are just collecting dust as they have never been run. Others are not much more complicated than putting together one of the more modern kits. Why don't we do a clinic on installing decoders. Also, maybe if we got together, as a club, we might be able to purchase a bunch at a discount. Operation is certainly easier and better with DCC and I know that some that like to run analog have difficulties with the switches and buttons on the control panel and depend on those that know how to run it. With DCC, most of these problems disappear.
