Since it is such a long train, it would be impressive. It doesn't quite fit in Jamestown, but it does fit at Summit. All freights seem to be too long for Wills Point anyway. Of course, it would have to be run on DCC. It could hold in Jamestown just short of block 53. The passenger train (the normal train to meet) could enter the other track, and once clear, the coal train could start up 53 and give clearance at the other end for the passenger train to enter 37. It would depend on what else was running, but it could easily run during a show provided that the on duty crew would agree. It does take two tracks in hidden to set up. The big Great Train Expo show would be a good show, but then again, there will lots of the club members wanting to run during that show.
