Hi Tony,
As these units have not been tested or run prior to the fair, they do not meet the spirit of our fair requirement of “no new or untested consists during the fair” which is in place to guarantee smooth operations and minimize operational down time.
I will see if I can make the units available to you so you can run them and prove the reliability of engines and consist operation by successfully finishing at least one full mainline loop without stalling or braking apart BEFORE the doors open this weekend.
This requirement was also discussed in the weeks preceding the fair and has done all of us active members well so far during the fair.
